which has better performance for development? triple booting a macbook or
a regular laptop?

I am considering getting a new laptop and I would like to use it for all
of my development.
I would like to use it to develop in the three major operating systems
(Mac OS, Windows, and some variant of Linux)
Should I get a macbook or a regular laptop?
I am not concerned with cost, I just don't want it to be glitchy or to be
a misrepresentation of the OS experience.
I also don't want a desktop, as I want my development environment to
portable.
